Patterns of Light is a working studio-shop selling paintings, cards, and hand-made items by Jenny Turner. The shop also sells other carefully selected gifts and cards, many sourced locally. Jenny is a member of the Highlands Open Studios group of artists.
Visiting the shop is a unique experience. The shelves are made from waned oak by local furniture designer John Murphy and rainbows flash around the shop when the sun shines. The things we offer for sale are all slightly different due to their hand-made nature……a joy in this age of mass production.
Nic McCaulay-Smith manages the on-line shop and, with Jo Turner (no relation!), offers Dreamcatcher Workshops from Patterns of Light in a yurt in the wooded area of the garden.
We are based in Kishorn, South West Ross…… with breathtaking views over to Skye and at the foot of the famous Bealach Na Ba (pass of the cattle) which takes one over to Applecross and peaks at an altitude of 2053 ft, with views over the Hebrides. Find us between Lochcarron and Shieldaig on the A896. Click on the map below to Google us.
